"Bill" Sewell, 73, of Campton, died suddenly at his residence Saturday, November 19 of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Sewell was a native of Breathitt County, and the son of the late John G. and Angie Pence Sewell. He was a former merchant and postmaster at Daysboro, a post he held for twenty eight years. He was also a former Campton merchant and owner of Sewell's Laundromat at Campton. He was a member of the Daysboro Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Mary Lykins Sewell, two sons, Bobby Sewell of Campton, and Billy Sewell of Salyersville, Ralph Sewell of Marietta, Ohio, and Ray Sewell of Tucson, Arizona, four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Taylor of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Ruby Bellville of Reading, Ohio, Mrs. Jean Buchanan of Waynesville, Ohio; and Mrs. Nancy Springs of Michigan; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the Daysboro Church of Christ with Rev. Willie Taylor officiating.
