NANCY DRAKE DIES AUG. 29 IN MT. STERLING
 
Mrs. Nancy Malvria Drake, 83, died Monday, Aug. 29 at the Windsor Care
Center, Mt. Sterling after an extended illness.
 
Survivors are six sons, Verner Drake of Vine Grove, Ky., Herrington
(Buster) Drake of Dayton, Ohio, Kernell Drake of Wheatridge, Colorado,
Ralph Drake of Vandalia, Ohio, Lester Drake of Campton, and Billy Joe
Drake with the U.S. Army in Korea; three daughters, Golden Brown of
Murray, Ky., Bonnie Carr of Dayton, Ohio, and Geneva Tyra of Mt.
Sterling; 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; two brothers,
George Oliver of Campton and Walter Oliver of Lexington.
 
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Campton
Baptist Church with Rev. James Hisel and Rev. Elwood Dunn officiating.
Burial in the Drake-Horton Cemetery on Sandy Ridge, with Shackelford
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
