Obituary: Peck, Ellen Banks - March 6, 1977 Wolfe County News - March 18, 1977 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** ELLEN PECK, 73, PASSES MARCH 6 Ellen Peck, 73, wife of Henry Peck of Route 1 Campton, died at approximately 4:15 a.m. Sunday, March 6. She had been in ill health for the past five years. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Church of God, and daughter of the late Monroe and Cora Banks. Other survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Mrs. Berneda Swim of Middletown, Ohio, and Miss Dixie Peck of Route 1 Campton; two sons, Robert Lee Peck of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Woodrow Peck of Route 1, Campton; one brother, Darlie Banks, six sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Spencer, Mrs. May Kirby; Mrs. Evalee Puckett, Mrs. Lola Hammons, Mrs. Ora Keiling, and Mrs. Marie Regis, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Campton First Church of God, with Rev. Doyle Thomas and Rev. James K. Brewer officiating.
