HURST Mrs. Isabella Duff Hurst, widow of Wm. L. Hurst, and mother of J.C. Hurst, president of the Blue Grass Development Company, died at her residence, 642 Central Avenue, Lexington, Wed. night at 10 o'clock of burns received Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Mrs. Hurst was burned on the entire left side of her body when her clothing ignited from an open grate at her home. Mrs. Hurst, who had been a resident of Lexington for the past 15 years was born in Breathitt County, the daughter of Henry C. and Mahala Strong Duff, and is survived by one son, J.C. Hurst; three daughters, Miss Minnie Hurst, Mrs. A.R. Marshall and Mrs. Nellie Redwine, all of Lexington; four sisters, Mrs. A.T. Combs, Campton, Mrs. A.M. Arnold, Claremore, Okla.; Mrs. Martin Davidson, Chavies, Ky, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Hurst was a member of the Baptist church. The body was removed to the W.R. Milward mortuary chapel.
