Obituary: Tapley, Frank Orville - Saturday, September 2, 1972 Wolfe County News - 1972 Submitted by: Carole Bays ************************************************************************** FRANK TAPLEY DIES SEPT. 2ND Frank Orville Tapley, 72, died at Maddox Clinic at 10:00 a.m. Sat. Sept. 2, of an apparent heart attack. He was born at Planter Rock, New Brunswick, Canada, April 3, 1900. He became an American Citizen in 1942, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired pipefitter and a member of Cox Lodge 464. Survivors are his wife, Lottie Peck Tapley; two sons, Charles Edward and Cyrus Clayton, of Campton; two daughters, Sandra Lee and Carolyn Sue, both at home; and one granddaughter; six brothers and three sisters who live in Canada, and two sisters who live in the U.S. Funeral services were held Sept. 4, at Campton first Church of God by Rev. Doyle Thomas.
