GUN SHOT WOUND FATAL       
 
Elijah Sargent, 60 years old, farmer of Wolfe county, died Sept. 1 from
complications due to a gun shot wound in the foot.  He was brought to
the Bach hospital here for treatment following the accident.
 
The body was removed to the undertaking establishment of J.R. Blake and
Son and later taken to Pine Ridge Wolfe county, where funeral services
were held Sept.2 
 
He is survived by his widow and several children.
