WRECK INJURIES FATAL TO WOLFE COUNTIAN\
\
Ray Dickey, 23 son of Mr. and Mrs. Weed Dickey of Wolfe County, was \
killed about 8:15 Monday night when a 49 Ford in which he was riding \
failed to make the curve beyond  Dr. Dunn's home at the edge of Campton on \
Highway 15.  Dickey was pinned under the car and Sheriff George Little, \
who investigated the wreck, said the man died within ten minutes of \
being injured.\
\
Landrum Napier of Austin, Ind., was driving the car when it wrecked.  \
He was hurt less than any of the others who were in the car but required \
hospital attention.\
\
John W. Nevills, 17 a soldier, also of Austin, ind., had both legs \
brokern, just below his waist and a fractured skull and was pronounced in a \
critical condition.  He was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan \
Hosptial in Lexington.\
\
Parks Spencer, a hitch hiker age 35, suffered a broken right arm and a \
fractured leg.  He was also hospialized in the Good Samartian hospital.\
\
Hearne Funeral Home took charge of the body of Ray Dickey.  He is \
survived by his wife, two children and his parents, all of Wolfe county.\
\
