DEATH CLAIMS MRS. VINIE SHACKELFORD
 
Vinie Shackelford, 84, died May 6 at Good Samaritan Hospital after a
long illness.  She was the widow of Cordie Shackelford and was a
daughter of the late Jim and Marishia Little
 
Mrs. Shackelford was a long time member of the Methodist Church.
 
Survivors include three sons, Nvyle Shackelford of Beattyville, Ernest
Shackelford, Mich., and John Shackelford of Campton; three sisters, 
Mrs.
Sallie Banks of Bethany, Mrs. Mary Noble of Mary, and Mrs. Carrie
Whisman of Cincinnati; a brother, Willie Little of Campton, and one
grandson, Mark Shackelford of Campton.
 
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 9, at the Campton
Methodist Church by Rev. Ben Cain and Rev. Doyle Thomas.  Burial was in
Evans Cemetery.  Shackelford Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
 
 
Note:  Omitted one daughter.
