DILLARD TOLSON CLAIMED AUG. 8
 
Dillard Leslie Tolson, 68, of the Callaboose Road died suddenly while
enroute to the hospital Sunday, Aug. 8 at approximately 4:15 p.m.  He
had been in ill health for the past several months.  He was a retired
employee of the Delco Products Division of General Motors Corp. of
Dayton, Ohio and was a native of Wolfe County, a member of the First
Church of God, and a retired minister.
 
He was an active member of the Wolfe County Kiwanis Club and sang with
numerous church groups in the area.
 
He is survived by one brother, Luther Tolson, Campton; three sisters,
Mrs. Stella Watkins of Campton, Mrs. Tal Branham of Campton, and Mrs.
Eva Gallagher, Chillicothe, Ohio and a number of nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wed. Aug. 14, at the Harvest
Time Tabernacle, with Rev. Omer Spencer officiating.  Burial was in the
Tolson Cemetery, with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
