Obituary: Sexton, George - Sunday, March 7, 1971 Wolfe County News - March 19, 1971 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Wolfe County News - GEORGE SEXTON PASSED IN CLARK George Sexton, 80, husband of Rosie Clair Sexton, of Paris, KY., and formerly of Wolfe County, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, March 7 at the Clark County Hospital in Winchester. He was a native of Floyd County, and a retired sawmill operator. Other survivors besides his wife include three sons, Regie Roe Sexton of Cincinnati, Buddy Junior Sexton and George Lee Sexton, both of Paris, KY., three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Kinney of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Virginia Parks, Campton, and Mrs. Maude Moore, Kalamazoo, Mich., one grandson, Raymond Collins, Lexington; 25 other grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at the Porter and Son Funeral Chapel with Rev. Walter Strong officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Cemetery in Morgan County.
