Obituary: Lindon, Osa - Tuesday, October 16, 1979 Wolfe County News - October 1979 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** OSA LINDON DIES OCTOBER 16 Osa Lindon, 64, died Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the VA Hospital, Lexington after a short illness. He was a native of Wolfe County and a veteran of World War II. Survivors are his wife, Anna Lou Hatton Lindon; four sons, Charles Harrison Lindon and George Daniel Lindon both of Lexington, Herbert Lindon of Prestonsburg and Stanley Lindon of Bethany; seven daughters, Irene Hollon, Allene Miller and Ogeleane Hatton all of Campton, Kathleen Hatton of Winchester, Linda and Glenda Lindon of Richmond, KY., and Christine Lindon of Bethany; three sisters, Stella Whisman and Pauline Lindon both of Campton, Roxie Tolson of Oklahoma; three step-brothers; Dorsie, Lace and Edgar Lindon. Funeral services conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18 at the First Church of God, Campton with Rev. Doyle Thomas officiating. Burial in Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
