ALFORD HOLLON DIES JAN. 15 AT HAZARD HOSP.
 
Alford Hollon, 74,died Thursday Jan. 15 at the Appalachian Regional
Hospital, Hazard.
 
Mr. Hollon was a native of Breathitt County and a retired factory
worker.
 
Survivors are five sons, Mitchell Holllon, Donald Hollon, Bob Hollon,
Jim Hollon and Charles Hollon all of Walled Lake, Michigan; three
daughters Carol Middletown of South Lyon, Michigan, Linda Jones of
Walled Lake, Michigan and Barbara Spencer of Flat; 25 grandchildren; 
and two great grandchildren; one sister, Mae Gilliam of New York.
 
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. at the War
Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cundiff officiating.  Burial in
the Johnson Cemetery at War Creek in Breathitt County with Shackelford
Funeral Home of Campton in charge of arrangements.
