She was a native of Hazel Green and the daughter of the late J.B. Hollon and Caroline Elkins Hollon. She was the widow of Rev. O.R. Henderson, a retired Methodist minister, who passed away only a few months ago. They were both graduates of Asbury College, Wilmore, KY. Mrs. Henderson was a poet, author and musician. She and her late husband had traveled extensively, visiting all the states and other capitals, but one. They spent their summers in Woodland Park, Colo. for many years, where Mrs. Henderson composed many poems which were published in a book entitled "Woodland Echoes." Survivors are two sons, Raymond and Paul Henderson, their wives and three grandchildren, two half sisters, Mrs. Iva Nollon Noel and Mrs. Ruth Hollon Condon of Tulsa, Okla.; also a number of nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Elizabeth Hollon Stewart and James I. Hollon, Jr. of Hazel Green.
