JOE LINDON, 35, DIED IN LOGGING ACCIDENT 14TH

Joe Lindon, age 35 died Friday April 14, when a tree fell and crushed 
him where he was cutting timber.  He was the son of Mort and Rella Rice 
Lindon.

Other survivors beside his mother are six children, Mark, Scott, Andy, 
Terri Jo and Deidra, all of Dessie Scott Children's Home, Pine Ridge.

One brother, Ralph Lindon, Dayton, O., four sisters, Mrs. Jean Meier, 
Apple River, Ill., Mrs. Alta Hurt, Franklin, O., Mrs. Wanda Mayberry, 
Kingsport, Tenn., and Mrs. Carolyn Racine, West Chester, O.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 17, at Campton Baptist 
Church by Rev. William Holmes and Rev. Ben Cain.

Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery, Shackelford Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
