MARY DAY OF HAZEL GREEN DIES JUNE 2
 
Mary Day, 81, of Hazel Green died Wednesday, June 2 in Troy, Ohio.  She
was born Jan. 27, 1901 at Frozen Creek, a daughter of the late William
H. and Evalee Tolson Gillispie.  She was a member of the Church of God
and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Day in 1971.
 
Survivors include four daughters, Daisy Dexter Milam of Florida, 
Mildred Moore of Shelbyville, Ruth Bottrell and Jerri Nell Ross, both of 
Troy, Ohio; four sons, J.C. Day and Paul Day, both of Hazel Green, Jack 
Day of Miamisburg, Ohio, Ted Day of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Gertrude 
Nickell of Yellow Springs, Ohio; 28 grandchildren.
 
Graveside services were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 4 at the 
Hazel Green Cemetery with Rev. C.L. Thompson officiating.  Burial in 
the Hazel Green Cemetery with Potter Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
