WILLIAM HOLLON, WOLFE NATIVE, PASSES IN OHIO		

Campton, Ky - Funeral services for William Jackson Hollon, 81, who died 
in Ohio, Thursday Oct. 2, were held at the Hazel Green Methodist 
Church, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Harlan Murphy of West 
Liberty assisted by Rev. Joe Nevius of Hazel Green in charge of the 
services.

Burial followed in the Hazel Green cemetery.

Mr. Hollon is survived by one son, Volney of Barstow, Calif., and three 
daughters: Mrs. Gladys Phillips, Lebanon, Ohio: Mrs. Roxie Phillips, 
Cincinnati, O.; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Acitve pallbearers for the funeral service were his grandsons; Eugene 
Phillips, Vernon, Jr., Phillips, Clyde Phillips, Thad Hollon, William 
Phillips and Donald Havens.  Honorary pallbearers were J.B. and R.E. 
Buchanan, S.D. Cecil, D.C. Rose, S.P. James, E.A. Arnett, Rodney Gillespie 
and R.L. Miller.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist church nearly all his life.  
He will be greatly missed by his many friends and relatives.  His wife 
preceded him in death 10 years and a daughter Maureen 12 years.
