Burial was at the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Lexington.� Mr. Lacy was survived by his wife, Mollie Elizabeth (Johnson) Lacy of Lexington; one son, Andrew Courtney Lacy and a daughter, Flossie C. (Lacy) Swango; and one grandson, William Earl Lacy, Sr.� He was the son of the late Alexander Preston "Alic" Lacy and Mary Ann "Pollyann" (Nickell) Lacy of Lacy Creek, Wolfe County. William was the grandson of the late Mark Lacy and Sally (Huff) Lacy, Wolfe County; and also the great-grandson of John Lacy and Sarah (Porter) Lacy, Wolfe County. W.P was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Boone Lacy, Wolfe County.� William Porter and Mollie Elizabeth (Johnson) were married April 4, 1892, at the home of her father, Abraham Franklin Johnson, on Lacy Creek, by Jim Pieratt, Minister of the Christian Church.
