OBITUARY: Tutt, Leonard, December 1931, Campton, Kentucky From: Carole Bays Date: Saturday, August 23, 2003 Jan. 1, 1932 - The Jackson Times Auto Accident is Fatal to L. Tutt Injuries which resulted from an automobile accident, caused the death of Leonard Tutt Campton, early Tuesday morning. Mr. Tutt dies at the Winchester hospital where he was taken following the accident. The accident occurred on Pine Ridge about five o'clock Wednesday evening when the car struck a telephone pole and turned over into a ditch. Mr. Tutt suffered a fractured skull, broken arm, lacerations of the throat and internal injuries. He died without regaining consciousness. Two other men who were riding in the car with Mr. Tutt suffered minor injuries. Funeral services were held Friday at one o'clock at the Baptist Church in Campton, conducted by Revs. Tolson and Howard. Surviving Mr. Tutt are his widow, Mrs. Cora Williams Tutt, one daughter, Bonnie, his mother and three brothers and three sisters. A large number from Jackson attended the funeral service. **Leonard Tutt's full name was David Leonard Tutt.
