OBITUARY:Nickell Henry C., June 6, 2003, Lexington, Kentucky From: Norma Adams Date: Saturday, August 23, 2003 June 8, 2003 - Hamilton Journal-News Henry Nickell Henry C. Nickell, age 68, of Hamilton, passed away at Huntington Court on Friday, June 6, 2003, a 6:45 a.m. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky, on February 3, 1935, the son of Herschel and Rose Lee (Reed) Nickell. Henry was employed as a machinist for Ford Motor Company. On February 3, 1974, in Hamilton, Ohio, he married Osa Gilbert. He is survived by his wife, Osa Nickell of Hamilton; a step-daughter, Sharon Reed of Jamestown, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Zenus Reed of Hamilton, Anita Richerson of Laurel, Indiana, Greg Reed, Joe Reed, Sarah Reed and Angel Stepheno, all of Jamestown, Tennessee; two great-grandsons, Jermery and Curtis Reed; three brothers, Jimmy Nickell and his wife Priscilla, and Laughton Risner and his wife Sally, all of Fairfield and Arnold Risner of Dayton; nephews, Lonnie Risner of Hamilton and Gary Nickell of Fairfield; and a niece, Debra Sloan of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Randy Moore of Lindenwald Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
