MRS. SARAH L. HADDIX TAKEN IN DEATH

Mrs. Sarah Little Haddix, 70 died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Lloyd Bach, at Quicksand at 4:30 Wednesday morning following a heart 
attack.  She had been in ill health for more than two years.

A daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Little and born in Wolfe 
County, Mrs. Haddix had resided in Breathitt county form more than 40 
years.  In recent years she had made her home with her daughter.

She was a member of the Jackson Methodist Church.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Bach, Mrs. Ed Strong of Irvine; Mrs. 
Edgar Burgess, Mrs. W.P. Cecil, Mrs. Homer Pittenger, all of 
Cincinnati; and Mrs. Buford Cook of Jacksonville, Fla; and five sons, Jas. W. 
Haddix of Louisville; Ed Haddix of Neon: Bruce Haddix, Thomas L. Haddix 
and Charles Hadddix, all of Cincinnati; and several grandchildren.  All 
her children are here for the funeral services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Friday morning at the home.  
Interment will follow in the Bach cemetery at Quicksand.  Ray and Blake 
have charge of the arrangements.
