SHERMAN OLIVER DIES MAY 7th

Blueford Sherman Oliver, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker T. Oliver, 
died Saturday, May 7 at 4:30 a.m. at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 
6 days.

He was born in Wolfe County, March 1, 1888.  He taught in the public 
schools of Wolfe and Breathitt Counties for 34 years.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Cable, of Vortex and Mrs. 
Nancie Griffith of Jackson, two brothers, Bruce of Campton and Eddie, of 
Fincastle and a host of other relatives and friends.
