ESTHER LYKINS TAKEN IN DEATH Mrs. Esther Lykins Rowe, daughter of Mrs. C.B. Lykins of Campton, died at the Bluefield Sanitorium in Grundy, Va., November 14, at 3:00 a.m. at the age of 44. Mrs. Rowe had been in decling health for two months. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Rolan Rowe, Feds Creek, Ky., six daughters, Mrs. Rowan Strunk, Cin., O., Misses Betty, Phyllis, Shirley, Grace and Connie Rowe all of Feds Creek, one son, Bobby Jack Rowe, also of Feds Creek; her mother, Mrs. C.B. Lykins of Campton; five sisters: Mrs. Grace Petho, Dayton, O., Mrs. Golda Myers, Mrs. Gertrude Stamper, Mrs. Ellavern Stassel all of Newport: Mrs. Jean Talbott, East Liverpool, O., one brother, C.B. Lykins, Jr., Campton and a host of friends and relatives. Mrs. Rowe was a member of the Anna O. Young chapter of the Eastern Star, Pikeville Commandery and El Hasa Temple of the Shrine, Ashland, Ky The funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. B.H. Thompson and Alvis Ford at the New Feds Creek church under the direction of the Grundy Funeral Home.
