CYNTHIA ANN MILLER CLAIMED BY DEATH

Mrs. Cynthia Ann Miller, 84 died of cereberal hemorhage at her home 
near Campton on Thursday, September 1.  She was in the yard and started to 
go into  the house, when she was seen to stumble and fall by some 
neighbor men.  She was dead when they reached her.  She was the daughter of 
Charles and Kate Byrd.

Funeral services were held at the Campton Baptist Church on Saturday 
morning at 11:00 under the direction of Hearne Funeral Home. Rev. Shirl 
Davidson, pastor of the church, officiated at the service.  Burial 
followed at the Miller cemetery near her home.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edna Cecil of Hazel Green, and a 
son. O.H. Miller, Vortex; four grandchildren, Charles E. Cecil, Hazel 
Green and Mrs. Bobby Rose of Helechawa, Mrs. T.H. Strunk, Holden, W. VA., 
and Mrs. William R. Miller of Lexington; and a great grandson and other 
relatives and friends.
