MOLLIE LACY, 81 DIES IN FAYETTE

Mrs. Mollie Elizabeth Johnson Lacy, 81, wife of William Porter Lacy, 
died at her home, 505 Olham Ave., Lexington at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, April 4, 
1954 after a long illness.

She was born in Wolfe County, a daughter of the late Frank and Carolyn 
James Johnson and was a member of Central Christian Church, Lexington.

Services were conducted at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Tuesday, at 1:30 
p.m. by Rev. Gentry Shelton.  Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R.T. Swango, and a son, Courtney 
Lacy, of Lexington; 4 sisters; Mrs. Lou A. Jones, Mattoon, Ill; Mrs. 
Pearl Davis, San Francisco, Calif; Mrs. Myrtle J. Cecil, London, Ohio and 
Mrs. Callie L. Barker, London, Ohio; a grandson and three great 
grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.
