S.M. MURPHY DIES IN MORGAN

S.M. Murphy, 73, retired farmer, died of a heart attack on Tuesday 
morning at his home near Bonny, Morgan county.  He had been in ill health 
for some time.

A native of Wolfe county, he was a son of the late Robert and Ellen 
Bryant Murphy.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Havens and Mrs. Carl 
Manning, both of Morgan county; four sisters, Mrs. William Holland, 
Winchester; Mrs. Robert Wells, of Middletown, O.: Mrs. Floyd Goodpaster, 
Wookerville, Ind., and Mrs. David Halsey, Morgan county; three brothers, 
Floyd Murphy, Winchester; G.C. Murphy, Kimmel, Ind., and Shelby Murphy, 
Menifee county.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at the residence 
with burial in the Exel/Ezel? cemetery.  The body will be removed to the 
residence from the Eastin-Richey funeral home at Mt. Sterling late this 
afternoon.
