RHEUMATIC FEVER FATAL TO WOMAN

Word was received in Campton, Tuesday of this week by Mr. and Mrs. M.R. 
Lovelace of the death of his neice, Miss Helen Wallace, 19, daughter of 
Mr. Bill Wallace and Mrs. Virgil Lovelace Wallace of Lexingotn, but 
formerly of Wolfe County.

Miss Wallace had been a victim of rheumatic fever but was thought to 
have fully recovered.  She was planning to be married in the early 
spring.  She went to work about two months ago and then took ill again and 
went to the hospital for treatment.  She died at an early hour Tuesday, 
February 15.  Funeral services were conducted in Lexington Wednesday, 
February 16.
