JASPER SPARKS DIES AT TAR RIDGE

Jasper Sparks, 78 of Tar Ridge, Ky died March 22, 1951, at his home 
after an illness of three weeks.  He was born on June 10, 1873.  Burial 
was in the Reynolds cemetery by the side of his wife, on Satruday, March 
24th.

He is survived by seven sons, Newton, Floyd, John, Charlie, Bill, 
Albert all of Wolfe county and Sam of Ohio.  Newton is ill in the Hazel 
Green Hospital at the present time where he has had to undergo an 
operation.  Four daughters; Alice Blackburn, Slyvia Brewer, and Eula Reynolds 
all of Rogers, Ky and Roxie McClure of Ohio.  Also he leaves 41 
grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and 
friends.

Rev. Herbert Hollon was called to the home on Friday evening at which 
time he held services to comfort the bereaved family and in honor of the 
departed who was his uncle.
