WOLFE COUNTY NEWS, OCTOBER 25, 1946

FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. LENA SMITH

Mrs. Lina Patrick Smith died of a stroke at her home in Middletown last 
week and was brought to Lee City for burial.  Funeral Services were 
conducted at the Lee City church by the local Missionaries on Wednesday.  
Burial was in the cemetery there immediately following the funeral.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her first husband,  Mr. Charles Patrick, of 
Campton; four sons, Vaughn Patrick, Middletown; Walter, Franklin, O., 
Fred of Cincinnati; and John of Florida.  Four daughters, Mrs. Nell 
Sebastian, Middletown; Mrs. Stella Whisman, Cincinnati; Mrs. Manda Hurst, 
Middletown; and Mrs. Ruby Rose of Lee City.  One half-brother, Sterling 
Bradley of Gilmore; and several grandchildren.

All the children attended the funeral but one.
