Wolfe County News - April 9, 1958		

LARKIN STAMPER FUNERAL RITES

Larkin Stamper of La Grange, 96 years old died Thursday March 27, at 
New Castle Sanitarium; where he had been a patient for four years.  He 
was a resident of LaGrange, a native of Lee County and a member of the 
Christian Church of Lee County.

Survivors include, three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Ewens, Stanton; Mrs. 
Mary L. Bowman, and Mrs. Grace Townsend of La Grange, four sons, Raleigh, 
Curt and Chester Stamper, La Grange, and McClennon Stamper of 
Anchorage, 20 grandchildren, 45 great grandchldren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted, Friday, March 28th at the Radcliff 
Funeral Home, LaGrange, by the Rev. Roy D. Martin.  Burial was Satruday in 
the Kash cemetery at Flat, Ky at two p.m.  Services were conducted at 
the cemetery by Rev. Sam Wilson of Beattyville.
