FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR JESSE LEGG

Jesse Legg, 70/79, died Wednesday night, Oct. 30.  He suffered a heart 
attack, according to report of Coroner Steve Brewer.  He was a member 
of the Pine Hill Baptist Church and the Torrent Masonic Lodge No. 711

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dorthalou Adams, Greencastle, Ind; 
and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hobbs, Brownstown, Ind.; one brother, Edward 
Legg, Iraan, Texas.

Services were held at the Pine Hill Baptist Church, Monday afternoon, 
Nov. 4 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Eliga Smith officiating, assisted by Rev. 
Clayton Adams.  Burial was in the Adams Cemetery, under the direction 
of Hearne Funeral Home.
