FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. SHEPHERD

Mrs. Martha Shepherd, age 95, died on July 22, in Middletown, Ohio 
where she had been making her home the past five years since her husband's 
death.  They were formerly of Wolfe County.

She was a member of Campton Methodist Church and had been since early 
youth.

She is survived by two sons, Clarence and Douglas Shepherd both of 
Middletown, Ohio and 8 grand children and seven great grandchildren.

She died in the hospital in Middletown, and the body was returned here 
Thursday, July 25.  Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of 
the Hearne Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25th with Rev. Walter 
Strong, pastor of the First Church of God, Campton, officiating.  
Burial was in the Shepherd Cemetery at Sandy Ridge.
