CORBETT T. LINDON DIES IN LEXINGTON

Corbett T. Lindon, 39, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lindon of Hazard, KY., 
died at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington at 2:30 p.m. on February 27, 
1951.  He had been ill for two years and was confined to his room the 
past eight months of this time.  He was a veteran of World War II; 
served with the Marine Corps in the North and South Pacific and Aleutian 
Islands.  He is a former student of Hazel Green Academy and was a member 
of the Trinity Methodist Church in Lexington, Ky.

Funeral services were under the auspices of Kerr Funeral Home of 
Lexington and conducted by the pastor of the Trinity Methodist Church of 
Lexington at 2:30 p.m, March 1, in the Hazel Green Methodist Church at 
Hazel Green and burial followed in the Hazel Green cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Shackelford Lindon, Lexington, and 
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.M. Lindon, Hazard and one brother, Cortez 
Lindon, Hazard, and other relatives and friends.
