FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. LINKOUS

Mrs. Cassie Linkous, 77, died at her home, Stillwater, Saturday night, 
March 2 at 10 p.m.  She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, 
Stillwater and a daughter of the late John and Catherine Centers.

She is survived by her husband, James Linkous; and five daughters, Mrs. 
Lester Collier, Pine Ridge; Mrs. Edward Carberry and Mrs. Ray Collier, 
both of Franklin, Ohio; Mrs. Ella O'Hair and Miss Dora Linkous, 
Stillwater; four sons, Rex, Floyd, Walter and William, all of Middletown, 
Ohio; four brothers, Nicke Center, Dayton, Ohio; Omer and John Center, 
Cleveland, Ohio, and Orville Center, Landsaw; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Rose, 
Hazel Green, and Mrs. Edgar Hollon, South Lyons, Mich.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the B.F. Porter and Son 
Funeral Home. Burial was in Evans Cemetery, Campton.  Rev. Meredith Thompson 
and Rev. Lewis Sherman, both of Ashland, conducted the funeral.
