HIGH FALLS RESIDENT KILLED BY AUTOMOBILE

Jonathan Creech Watson of High Falls was accidentally killed last week 
while on his way to his mail box to mail letters when he stepped in 
front of a car driven by Dester Alexander of Pine Ridge.

The only other occupant of the car, Stanley Alexander, and the drives 
___ to town to report the accident but when they returned to High Falls, 
Mr. Watson was dead.

He is survived by his wife, Lizzie Nickell Watson, whom he married 
about one year ago: several children by a former marriage, other relatives 
and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Rev. M.P. Bryant and 
Rev. J.F. Powell.  Interment was in the family cemetery near his home.
