STELLA LINDON DIED SEPTEMBER 27 Mrs. Stella Lindon, age 66, passed away September 27 at 3:15 p.m. after a long illness. She is sruvived by one son, Mr. Charles E. Lindon of Campton, at whose home she died. One daughter, Mrs. Rosaline Emerick, of West Liberty; two brothers, Mr. C.O. Rose, Paris, KY and Mr. D.C. Rose, Hazel Green, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Sample of Morehead; and Mrs. L.E. Smith of Lexington. Several nieces and nephews and other relatives as well as many friends who will mourn her passing. All of her family besides Mrs. L.E. Smith of Lexington were present. Mrs. Smith was unable to attend, being ill herself, but her daughters, Mrs. Frank Tache and husband and Miss Reva Smith of Lexington attended the funeral services. The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Campton where Mrs. Lindon has been a faithful member for many years, on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Gabriel Banks of Morehead and the Rev. C.M. Seale of Asbury College conducted the services. Pallbearers were Steve Rose, W.J. Sample, O.L. Miller, Omer Catron, A. W. Pieratt and James Swope, Sr. Burial was on the family lot in the Evans cemetery at Campton, with the Eastern Star Lodge chapter of Campton in charge. The music for the services was rendered by the choir of the West Liberty churches, under the supervision of Mr. Reeves of Lancaster, KY.
