NATIVE OF WOLFE DIED DECEMBER 15

F.D. Allen, about 79 years of age passed away on Sunday afternoon about 
4:00 p.m.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Allen and five sons, 
Alfred Allen of Bear Pen, Rufus Allen of Campton, Sam Allen of Vortex, 
George Allen of Mary and Reuben Allen of Bear Pen.  Three daughters, 
Mrs. Katherine Smith of Leco, Mrs. Jetta Copeland of Ashland, Mrs. Pruda 
Crabtree of Mt. Sterling.

Funeral Services were conducted at the home on Bear Pen, on Tuesday 
afternoon.  Burial followed immediately afterwards in the White cemetery at 
Bear Pen.

[Note:  This is Ferris Delaney Allen s/o Granville Allen and Salina 
Bailey.  He married Nancy Smith.  There was another daughter Oma and I 
don't know why she wasn't listed.  Katherine was Amelia Catherine Smyth of 
Lee County and Jetta was a Coplin.]
