FANNIE MILLER CHILDERS DIED IN LEXINGTON Mrs. Fannie Miller Childers, 79, wife of Jonathan E. Childers, died at 6:20 Friday night at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. George W. Center, 1531 North Limestone street, Lexington, after a seven year illness. Mrs. Childers was born in Wolfe county, a daughter of the late David C. and Caroline Boyd Miller. She had been a resident of Lexington for the past nine years and was a member of the Epworth Methodist church. In addition to her husband and daughter, Mrs. Center, she is survived by a second daughter, Mrs. H.C. Welch, Lexington: three sons, J.M. Childers, Lexington, S.M. Childers, Winchester, and Raymond E. Childrers, Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Celia Cable and Mrs. Lizzie Cable, Wolfe County and Mrs. Zarildia Hanks, Middletown, OH; three brothers, John and R.L. Miller, Wolfe County and I.S. Miller, Mt. Sterling; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2:00 Monday afternoon at Kerr Brothers funeral home, the Rev. Warner P. Davis, pastor of Epworth Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Lexington cemetery. Active pallbearers were Z.M. Childers, Marcus Childers, Osa Miller, Jack Warner, Bill Campbell and Woodrow Jasper. Mr. and Mrs. James Swope, Sr., of Campton and Mrs. Reva Howard and E.T. Kash of Hazel Green attended the funeral.
