JOHN HENRY DRAKE, 76 died at his home on Morris Creek Feb. 23, 1943, 
following a lingering illness.  Funeral at Campton Sunday at 2:00 p.m. by 
Rev. Ballard Johnson.  Burial in the Evans Cemetery in Campton by Hearne 
Funeral Home.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Martha Boothe, four sons, Hendricks Drake and 
Willie Drake, Middletown, OH; George Drake, Stanton, and Eldon Drake, 
Cincinnati, OH; six daughters: Mrs. Lydia Boothe, Middletown, OH; 
Mrs. Caroline Johnson, Pine Ridge; Mrs. Mary Faulkner and Mrs. Allie Powell, 
Stanton; Mrs. Nannie Neal, Clay City, and Mrs. Emma Stpehens, Lexington.
