SARAH JANE ALEXANDER SPENCER, 97 of Franklin, OH passed away at the 
Willow Knoll Nursing Home in Middletown, OH.

Sarah Jane was born Nov. 25, 1904 in Wolfe County and has been in OH 
for the last 51 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist 
Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Delmar Alexander; second husband,
 Thomas Spencer; grandsons; Donald Brewer and Delmar Thomas Keith; s
ons-in-law, James Keith, Frank Curtis and George Hunter; four brothers and 
one sister; great granddaughters; Shelby Pergrem and Suzie Irmis, and parents 
John (Deed) and Alice Lacy.  (NOTE: Alice was a Horton)

She is survived by one son, Wm. Spencer and wife Eve of Springboro, OH; 
daughters; Freda Curtis Allen and husband, Austin of Middletown, OH, Eva Keith 
of Waynesville, OH; Margaret Mikeals and husband Burl of 
Elizabeth City, NC, Jean Spencer of Middletown, OH, Wilma Louise Leslie and 
husband Claude of Trenton, OH; Irene Faye Streitenberger and husband Jesse 
of Bloomington, OH, and Glenna Hunter of Carlisle, OH; 15 grandchildren, 
28 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

The funeral was held Jan. 17, 2002.  Burial in the Butler County Memorial Park.
