She had a stroke last August, and has been sick every since. In the year 1885 she was married to Ike Hollon, who preceded her in death, on Feb. 1, 1947. God blessed them and permitted them to live together 62 years almost. They never had any children of their own; but they reared six: Mrs. Josie Graham, Bethany, Mrs. Maude Brewer, Trace Fork, Mrs. Dixie Tyra (deceased) Easter Gevedon, Indiana, Corbett Hollon and Mrs. Verna Rose, both of Hollonsville. "Aunt " Belle made her home with the later two mentioned. There were others who stayed with them a few years at a time. She leaves a brother, Richard Terrill of Elizabethtown, Ky and a sister, Mrs. Eva Creech, Indiana and a host of relatives and friends. She was united with the Christian church in 1932. Rev. Harry Stockton and Rev. Henry Hall conducted the service and Ray and Blake funeral home from Jackson were in charge of funeral and burial arrangements. Burial was in the Hollon and Terrell Cemetery near her home immediately following the funeral. The children were all pesent save Easter Gevedon who came late, about an hour after the burial; due to having received the news so late.
