JOHN ALEXANDER TAKEN BY DEATH

Uncle John Alexander of Meadow Branch died at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Price Lykins, Saturday evening at about 8:30.  Mr. Alexander was 
born January 30, 1863.  He was married to Catherine Creech, June 1884.  
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander had three daughters, Mrs. Price Lykins, Mrs. 
Lola Williams, Mrs. Dollie Bush.  His wife and daughters, Lola and Dolly 
preceded him in death.  Besides his daughter, Mrs. Price Lykins, he is 
survived by one brother, Samuel Coon Alexander of Lawrenceville, Il and 
twenty-one grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

His funeral was conducted by the Rev. Shirl Davidson at the home of 
Mrs. Lykins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Burial was in the Evans Cemetery.
