She was 73 on her last birthday, August 22, 1949. She was married to the late William Buchanan in 1893. Surviving are three sons; John and Howard of Stillwater, Ky., and William Buchanan of Detroit, Mich. Also two daughters: Ruth Buchanan and Ruby Tibbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Two brothers: John D. Tolson of Dayton, O., and Ben H. Tolson of Evansville, Ind., and one sister, Mrs. Lou Hayes of Jackson, Ky. 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She has been a member of the Church of Christ of Landsaw, Ky, for more than 55 years. Her passing is a great loss to her many relatives and friends, but it is a great comfort to know what she has gone to a home of everlasting peace where death is unknown. Funeral services were conducted at the Stillwater Church on Sunday afternoon with Rev. Shirl Davidson, pastor of the Campton Baptist Church and Rev. Willie Taylor of Fixer officiating. Hearne Funeral Home was in charge of funeral and burial arrangements. Burial was in the family cemetery on Buchanan Fork. Pallbearers were Jim Buchanan, Beve Buchanan, Elze Childers, Herman Potts, Harold Adams and G.B.
