VERGIE G. SPENCER GIBBS 81 of Northridge passed away Friday, September 
20, 2002 at her home.  Vergie was born in Rogers, Kentucky on June 12, 
1921 to the late Henry Clay and Ellar Susan Spencer.  She was a member 
of the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church.  Proceded in death by her 
beloved husband, Albert R. (1993); her sons, Randall A. (1995) and Donald 
R. (1949).  Survived by 4 daughters and son-in-law, Sue Robinson, Linda 
Gibbs, Debbie and Danny Worthington, Jacquelynn Hale; son Mark Gibbs, 6 
grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Mandi, Danny, Christopher and Joshua; 
great grandson Jacob; sister, Esther Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews, 
other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday evening at the George C. Martin Funeral 
Home, Northridge Chapel 5040 Frederick Pike.  Pastor Tim Hamilton 
officiating.  Interment H.C. Spencer Family Cemetery, Rogers, KY.  Vergie's 
family will receive friends locally 5 - 8 p.m. Monday at the George C. 
Martin Funeral Home.  Further viewing and services Tuesday (5-9 p.m.) & 
Wednesday (11 a.m.) at Porter and Son Funeral Home in Campton, KY.  If 
desired memorials may be made to Hopice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., 
Dayton, OH 45420.
