WOLFE COUNTY NEWS,  June 24, 1964	

ALEX BOYD TRENT, 75, died at his home in Campton Sunday, June 21 at 3 
p.m. after a short illness.

A native of Breathitt county, he had lived in Wolfe since he was a 
young man.  He was the son of the late James Trent.

He is survived by four sons, Luther Trent, North Judson, Arnold Trent, 
Middletown, O., Orville Trent, Elkhart, Indiana, and Galloway 
(Calloway) Trent also of Elkhart; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Tyra of Campton, 
Mrs. Myrtle Banks of Elkhart, Indiana, and Mrs. Jane Powell of Chicago; 
six half brothers, Walter Trent and Logan Trent, both of Dayton, OH, 
George Trent of Richmond, Indiana; James Trent of Dayton, Ohio, J.B. Trent 
and Alvin Ray Trent both of Richmond, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. 
Imogene Trent, Dayton, Ohio and Miss Eulah Jean Trent of Dayton, Ohio; 32 
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held at the Campton Church of God at 1 p.m. June 24 
with Rev. C.C. Osborne officiating.  The body was removed from Porter 
and Son Funeral Home to the residence Monday afternoon.  Burial was in 
Evans Cemetery in Campton.
