Riggs, 350 Cassity avenue, after a three year illness. Born in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late John and Sefronia Creech Legg. She had lived in Lexington for the past eight years and was a member of the Baptist Church. Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughers, Mrs. Riggs and Miss Ola Brown, the latter of Indianapolis, two sons, James S. Brown of Wolfe County and Charles Brown, Mt. Pleasant, Mich; four grandchildren, and two great -grandchildren. The body was removed to Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Brown were conducted at the Hazel Green Christian Church on Sunday afternoon July 3, at 1:30 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. J. Ryan Nevius, Pastor and Rev. Don Creech of Stanton.
