WOLFE COUNTY NEWS  - July 6, 1955	

FUNERAL RITES HELD SATURDAY FOR MR. PECK

Leander Peck, age 75 husband of Matilda Peck, died June 30 at his home.  
Funeral was conducted at Hearne Funeral Home at Campton at ten a.m. on 
July 2 with Rev. John Miller officiating and Hearne Funeral Home in 
charge.  Burial was in the Evans Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Matilda Handy Peck, Campton; three 
daughters; Mrs. Lottie Tapley, Campton; Mrs. Rosie Cox, Middletown, Ohio; 
Mrs. Reva Moore, Rogers; four sons, Elzie Peck, Campton; Charles C. 
Peck, Dayton, Ohio; Herman Peck, Carlisle, Ohio; Leander Peck, Jr., 
Dayton, Ohio.  Also two brothers, Brack Centers, Torrent, Ky and Steve 
Centers, Campton, Ky and two sisters Mrs. Rosa Ann Glacken, Covington; 
and Mrs. Francis Spencer, California, Ky.
