LIZZIE CABLE WOLFE PIONEER

Above is the picture of Mrs. Lizzie Cable, who was 76  on Oct. 25, 
1951.  She is one of the pioneers of our county and is now and has been a 
resident of Campton for many years.

She is the daughter of Mrs. D.C. Miller and Caroline Boyd Miller.  She 
was united in marriage to R.G. Cable in 1896.  They only had 12 years 
of happiness together until death claimed him on Dec. 22, 1908. 

Mrs. Cable is the mother of four children, all grown and married.  Fred 
lives in Campton, Ralph in Trenton, Ohio and Rush at Leeco, Ky.  Only 
one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Wright of Salt Lick, Ky.

The children were all visiting her through the Thanksgiving holiday 
season.  She lives all alone in a little white cottage on highway No. 15 
in Campton; but she has good neighbors who run in and out to see her.

She is a sister to R.I. Miller of Hazel Green, I.S. Miller of Mt. 
Sterling and John Miller of Lee of Lee City, Ky.
