HEART ATTACK CLAIMS LIFE OF NELLIE COMBS	

Mrs. Nellie Combs, daughter of M.H. Wells, Landsaw, Ky., age 56 died 
April 30th in Royal Oak, Mich.  She suffered a heart attack and died 
enroute to the hospital.  She was a member of the Rosedale Baptist Church, 
Landsaw, KY.  She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Dizinang, 
Spokane, Washington; Mrs. Arbutus Abney, Holt, Minn. and Miss Maude 
Combs, Chester, Pa, also one son by her first husband, Enoch Bakey Jr., of 
Detroit, Mich; her father, N.H. Wells, Landsaw, five sisters; Mrs. 
Callie Walters, Springfield, Ohio; Mrs. Maude Combs, Hazard, Ky., Mrs. 
Nancy Curry, Nevada, Mo., Mrs. Margaret Wells, Chester, Pa.; Mrs. Maxine 
Vires, London, Ky., also three brothers, M/Sgt. Willard Wells, Ft. 
Stewart, Ga., Emmett Wells, Royal Oak, Mich. and Ollie Wells, Detroit, Mich. 
and 12 grand children.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 5th at ten a.m. in the 
Rosedale Baptist Church at Landsaw, Ky, by Rev. Walter Strong and Rev. Fred 
Litteral and burial was in the Rose Cemetery at Landsaw.  Arrangements 
were in charge of Hearne Funeral Home of Campton.  Pallbearers: Harvey 
Wills, Ira (Jiggs) Combs, E.E., E.O. and Reese and Roy Cundiff.
