JOE WARDEN DIES IN WASHINGTON

Joe Warden, former resident of Wolfe County, died in Washington, 
August 17 after an illness of several years.

Mr. Warden came to Wolfe county as a young man interested in the 
logging industry.

He was married to Pearl Gosney, daughter of the late Charlie and 
Melissa Tutt Gosney of Campton.  The Wardens celebrated their 
Golden Wedding a few months ago.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Travis, Voyne, 
Darrell, Wendell and several grandchildren.
