MANDA HAYS LAWSON DIED ON APRIL 8

Mrs. Manda Hays Lawson, daughter of the late Don/Dan and Elizabeth 
Dennis Hays was born April 15, 1868 and departed this life on April 8, 
1950.  Had she lived another week she would have celebrated her 82nd 
birthday.

She was brought up in the Baptist Church.

On September 7, 1888, she was united in marriage with John Lawson and 
to their union were born ten children, seven of whom survive.  Surviving 
children are Lavenna Manning, Big Woods; Emma Mays, Murphy Fork, Lige 
Lawson, Ezel; Lula Lawson, Middletown, Ohio; Randie Moore, Hazel Green; 
Callie Moore, Hazel Green and Inez Stigall, Hamilton, OHio.  She is 
also survived by 54 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, one 
sister, Belle Lawson, Big Woods, and a brother, Sam Lawson, Dan.

The three children who preceded her in death were Gertrud Barnett, Alva 
Lawson and Lafe Lawson.
